Does anyone know who did the vocals on "Making A big Mistake" by Mike Rutherford?

A song I've always loved off the 1984 "Against all Odds" soundtrack, but
could never work out the vocalist, coming as it did, in between "Acting Very
Strange"(1982) with Mike doing the vocals, and the Mechanics(1985)

It sounds like more like Paul Carrack than Mike, but pre-dates the Mechanics
by a year. Could this be Mike and Paul's first collaboration?

Incidentally, an album worth having for Genesis fans, having not just Mike
and Phil, but Peter as well.
