are the images on the DVD (5.1) version of the Lamb THE slides that were
used in the original touring version of te piece?

I think the 5.1 remixes are amazing - and Trespass is just breathtaking

Exactly. The slide show on the DVD was actually created by Serge Morissette
of TMB who sorted the slides for the first TMB "Lamb" shows in 2001. The box
with the originals was found by Dale Newman on the farm, but it was entirely
messed up and out of order, and it took Serge more than a month to sort it
(using some contact sheets of pictures that documented the entire "Lamb"
concert).

Then for the European shows in 2004-2005 he met David Lawrence (who operated
the slide show in 1974) in London in order to fine-tune and sync the slide
changes. Although the running order was already perfect in 2001, some of the
changes were improved for the second tour.

Since there was some doubt if the DVD would really include *all* slides (or
just a selection) we spoke to Serge during the recent European TMB "Trick of
the Tail" tour, and he confirmed that the DVD indeed includes every single
slide... so this really is the Full Monty! :-)
