In an article by Éric Mandel, in the Montréal French language newspaper La
Presse, PG says this:
Q- Justement, la tournée de Genesis l'été dernier ne vous a pas donné envie
de rempiler avec vos anciens camarades?

R- Je n'ai même pas eu le temps de les voir en concert. Mais je n'ai rien
contre une reformation. J'ignore où, quand et comment. Mais une chose est
certaine: ce n'est pas hors de question!

Translated, it means this:

Q: Has the recent Genesis tour given you the desire to rejoin them?

A: I didn't even had the time to catch them live. I have nothing againt a
reunion. I don't know where, when and how. One thing is certain: it is not
out of the question.

I know it has been mentioned before but I thought you all might like to know
that PG still feels good about a reunion in Febuary 2008.

One thing is certain: it is not out of the question.
Peter has been giving this "never say never again" non-answer for as long as
journalists have been asking him the question - it's just his way of saying
"Who knows? Ask me another..."

At the risk of being called a lyar or accused of not being sincere?

Peter's answer is always the same, and at the same time a circular
argument. His first answer is"Yes, I'm interested, but I don't have the
time right now", and then it's "If we do it, we need lots of time to
rehearse and be ready". If he's going to do it then he needs to set the
time aside to rehearse and do it, not just keep saying there's a
possibility and keeping everyones hopes up that someday he may actually
commit to something. He's always working on his "NEXT" solo album, but
they are always many years apart and the time keeps taking longer and
longer between each. Thankfully everyones still alive at this time and
the possibility exists, but if he keeps putting it off then this just
may not happen, no one is getting any younger.
